Terms of Service (Muse App)

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Service (these "Terms") define the terms and conditions for using the Muse application (the "App") provided by , with its principal office at (the "Company"). These Terms constitute a contract between users and the Company upon installation or use of the App.

Article 2 (App Download and Installation)

This App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Download and installation should be performed in accordance with the terms of service of each store.

Use of this App requires a compatible mobile device and internet connection.

Article 3 (Account Registration)

Account registration is required to use some features of this App. Please provide accurate information when registering and update it promptly if there are any changes.

Users are responsible for managing their account login information. If unauthorized use occurs, please contact the Company immediately.

When minors use this App or purchase paid services, it is assumed that prior consent has been obtained from parents or legal guardians.

Article 4 (In-App Purchases)

This App allows you to purchase paid content and services:

  • Fees are charged through each app store
  • Purchases are processed immediately and cannot be cancelled
  • Subscriptions are automatically renewed and continue until cancelled
  • Users will be notified in advance before any subscription renewal, where applicable by law
  • Prices may change without notice
  • Cancellation methods are available through your device's app store settings

Article 5 (Third-Party Services Integration)

This App may integrate with third-party services including but not limited to:

  • Spotify: Music streaming service integration and authentication
  • Apple ID: Apple ecosystem integration and authentication
  • Other APIs: Additional third-party services as may be added from time to time

By using these integrations, you agree to be bound by the respective terms of service and privacy policies of these third-party providers. The Company is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of third-party services.

Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)

Users must not engage in the following acts when using this App:

  • Sharing or reselling this App to third parties
  • Reverse engineering or analyzing this App
  • Using cheat tools or hacking tools
  • Posting fake ratings or reviews
  • Interfering with other users
  • Unauthorized acquisition of personal or confidential information
  • Distribution of malware or viruses
  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Company

Article 7 (Device Permissions)

This App may request the following permissions to provide its functions:

  • Camera, Microphone: For media functionality
  • Location Information: For location-based services
  • Storage: For data storage
  • Contacts: For friend invitation features
  • Notifications: For sending push notifications

These permissions can be changed at any time from device settings.

Article 8 (Data Usage)

Use of this App requires internet connection and may incur data charges. Data usage and communication charges are the user's responsibility.

Article 9 (Updates)

The Company regularly provides updates to improve app functionality and security. Important updates may be recommended or required for installation.

Article 10 (Service Suspension and Changes)

The Company may suspend or change services in the following cases:

  • For system maintenance
  • When technical problems occur
  • When there are legal requirements
  • Due to business decisions

Article 11 (Usage Restrictions and Account Suspension)

In case of violation of these Terms, the Company may take the following measures without prior notice:

  • App usage restrictions
  • Account suspension or deletion
  • Suspension of purchased content usage
  • Implementation of legal measures

Article 12 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intellectual property rights related to this App and its content belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify these without permission.

Article 13 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

The Company is not responsible for the following:

  • Device failure or damage
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Third-party service failures
  • Network connection problems
  • Effects of app store policy changes

Even when the Company is liable for damages related to the use of this App, the liability for damages shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages, with the total amount not exceeding the usage fees paid by the user in the past 12 months.

Article 14 (Consumer Rights and Data Protection)

Nothing in these Terms shall limit any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law. If you are a resident of the European Union, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are a resident of California, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling and your rights.

Article 15 (Withdrawal and Uninstallation)

Users may delete their account and uninstall the app at any time. If there are active subscriptions, please cancel them through each app store.

Article 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law, and any disputes related to this App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business. This shall apply unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in the user's country of residence.

Article 17 (Changes to Terms of Service)

The Company may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms will be notified through the app or website, and continued use of the app after notification shall be deemed acceptance of the changes.

Article 18 (Privacy Policy)

The handling of personal information in this App is governed by our separate Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms.
